Re: Lets See Your "Command Centers" Fellow Geeks!

The Jaws command center. Just finished and moved in recently. Almost everything was salvaged from somewhere. We recycled the desks and cabinets from our office in town, they were stained cherry. The tile was left over from bid jobs, except the tile surround for the mirror. Marble top for the vanity was a remenent left over from a custom home.

Ill see if I can dig up some pics of the remodel, it was extensive. Im bored out of my head in commisioners court all day.

We had to remove the floor and joists, brace the walls, build two grade beams we bagged in 125 or so bags on thanksgiving day, cantilivered 2x10 joists to level the building back up, laid a membrane and hauled in pea gravel with wheel barrows.

Then added the bathroom on. Then re did the electrical and added recesssed lighting. Mitsubishi mini split AC system.

Since you were provoked, I’ll post mine. Here’s Da Vinci World Headquarters. It was remodeled over the holidays in 2011. The pictures were taken before I could clutter up the place.

The kitchen is one floor up and my shower is two floors up. I don't have a Jaws type setup

Since I got the office room finished about a year ago. Nice having a room with carpet and walls instead of concrete walls and floors lol.
