Keyword Spy

I check the referring links on my web site every couple of days. I can see what search terms are working, what search engines or sites are referring, and I know how to tweak my efforts.

So this referring link caught my eye -

http://www.keywordspy.com/find-compe...istinction.com

So I load the link into my address bar, hit the enter key, and it turns out somebody has been checking to see what keywords I'm using in my adwords program.

Here's the text from the site:
Quote:
4 Simple Steps
  1. Type in a keyword or domain
  2. View your competitor's keywords
  3. Import keywords for your own ad campaign
  4. Watch your revenue grow

I'm kind of stunned. All the thought I put into these keywords, and some moron is going to buy a program and just steal my effort.

I guess I should be flattered?

I spent 15 minutes or so on their site after reading your post last night. It's a good tool!

They mention that a Keywordspy user could get the same benefit from using the Google keyword tool.

I didn't pay $89/month for the Google keyword tool.

I have been getting the same thing on my site (www.bluebarn.ca) for the last couple of months. The keywordspy is one of the top referrers for the last 2 months. When I go to check out what they have found about my adwords program, I find they got zippo. I don't know what I am doing right but it works.

The domain " BlueBarn.ca " is not currently advertising on any search engines. Please try another domain.
