Hola From Purto Lavarta Mexico

Hola!

Well I am using my Sprint Wireless card down here in Purto Lavarta Mexico and it is working really well. It is the first time that I have used it out of the States because most of our resorts have wireless internet included and this one does not. You have to go out on the balcony/ out doors to get service but the speed is actualy a little faster than at home since they have the updated towers here.

I will give myonlinetoolbox.com a try while down here also since I canceled QB Online already. I need to let others wright up proposals while I am gone but just cant bring myself to do it. At least not without my final review.

Sprint phone is working good as well except that I can't check my messages. There has to be a way but it is to expensive to experiment at $1.99 a minute

Adios Amigos

Re: Hola From Purto Lavarta Mexico

If it is Puerto Vallarta, I'm home sick. I was down there for 10 days in December and had way too much fun.

Where are you staying? Seeing the whales? They were just starting to show up while we were there, we could see them out in the bay from our balcony and we saw 2 blow at the surface on two different boat trips but never actually saw them.

If you need any ideas on anything down there let me know, we were all over that place.

We stayed over at the Riu just outside of town. This was Hannah's 1st real trip with us (she is 4 now) and we chose January for the whale watching.

We actually saw more whales jumping and blowing while we were walking down the board walk than we did during the 7 hour whale expedition. That was a long day.

My sister went on the ATV trip and really liked it and Hannah loved the dolphin encounter at the Adventure Center. A Canadian that was on the whale watching tour went on and on about the Pirate Ship Adventure.

It was real nice and 5 days went way to fast.

This one was mostly just for Hannah so we did not visit any other hotels like we usually do. It was a real nice experience for her.

That freak'n pirate ship every night parked itself directly off our hotel's beach and fired it's 'cannons' every night. The first time I was there and it did it I just about sh*t myself! They must have made a deal with the hotel or something.

Hey, how many times did you say "No gracias" while you were there?

Mine should not be that bad .....but you have got me worried. Shelly was booking trips online for her clients and and I was on here several times as well. With all of the flash and advertisements it may be a pretty high bill.

I'll let you know.

Re: Hola From Purto Lavarta Mexico

Puerto Vallarta is a great place to visit and live.

My wife talked me into living there for two years, 2003-2004. We brought our 10 year old daughter down with us and sent her to an American School where she became fluent in Spanish.

In 2003 the Puerto Vallarta area just got high speed internet so we could work and give online demonstrations over the internet. With the Vonage phone it was cheaper for us to make a call to outstate Minnesota than making a call from within Minnesota.

We loved Puerto Vallarta so much we purchased 4 ocean front villas

Re: Hola From Purto Lavarta Mexico

If you want great shrimp and lobster go to a place called Dugarals in Bucerious.

Bucerious is 15 minutes north from the Puerto Vallarta airport. Dugarals is the last pink restaraunt on the north side of town on the ocean. Your first impression might confuse you because when you look at the place the deck looks slanted but I guarantee when you walk out of this place the deck is level. I think it might have something to do with the Margaritas

What a great vacation spot and or place to retire
