Formatting 64gb Micro Sd Card To Fat32


Just what the title says...anybody? Do I need to download software?

You do not need to download software.

If you are using Windows (pretty much any number) find the drive in the file explorer then right click on it.
Choose "Format" and that should do it.

Tried that...no fat32 option

I think that Fat32 is the default but I could be wrong in that.

Why the need for FAT32?

The card should be formated to eXFAT which is a better standard anyway.

FAT32 I think limits an individual file size on the removable drive to 4 Gigs.

You could download MiniTool it is free and a pretty good disc partition software.

just bought a N2 Pro dash cam and a Samsung evo select 64gb micro sd...need to format it to Fat32 according to instructions...they just tell you to google it. Seems I need software, I'll check out that link.
