Find these options, double click each one and change to below values:

network.http.max-connections-per-server: 24

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy: 12

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server: 6

Re: Firefox Tweaks

Gunn,

Thanks for the info! That made a noticeable difference. I don't have a clue what I just changed, but it works. Is there any downside to these changes??

Also, does anyone use Thunderbird?

Some weeks I 'use' at least 4 bottles - some weeks less. Used to use Mad Dog or Ripple.

Re: Firefox Tweaks

I have been using the tweak for a few months without a problem. No downside at all just speed. I also use Thunderbird and I think it's also a good program.

Re: Firefox Tweaks

Thanks for the tweaks. I like the simplicity of Firefox, and being able to open tabs for multiple sites.

I also I have thunderbird. One thing I would like to change is that when I reply to an email my reply is at the bottom of the original email instead of the top. Anyone know how to make the change.

Re: Firefox Tweaks

OK another tweak
Type in about:config in search box. Right-click anywhere in the page that appears and select New>interger. Name it " nglayout.initialpaint.delay " and set its value to "0 "
If you are on broadband it will load pages faster.
