Downloading Quickbooks Into Register - BE CAREFUL

I've been downloading my register into Quickbooks since the beginning of 2007.

I noticed I had a $1000 receipt that I couldn't find in the unmatched or matched transactions.

After careful checking, it appears that bit of information was never passed from the bank to my Quickbooks register. After carefully checking every single transaction from my bank register against my Quickbooks register, I found another transaction that hadn't passed. I wondered why it was taking so long for a $50 gas purchase to clear the bank.

Data can be corrupted on downloading. I'm glad I caught this now rather than later.
