Database
We are tranforming my constrution business ino a remodeling company but I am really struggling with what database to use.
I am trying to find one dtatbase that will run my lead generation assining the lead to our salesmen, in turn extimating/quoting , then turning the sale over to project management team, while tracking all of our back office A/P, A/R, payroll, etc. We are currently running on quickbooks but that system does not cover all facets of our remodeling business as well as ease of use. We are currently looking at web based as well as owner software but we cant seem to find one that fits all. Does anyone have any suggestions |

Re: Database
What version of QB are you using? Contractor Edition lets you write estimates and assign sales people to them, you can create assemblies (like a bathroom or kitchen) to pull into estimates for quick editing, etc. You can also use an estimate as a budget of sorts, QB has reports that compare estimate to actual, and I would think you could use this as a guideline for your project managers. It doesn't have project management, that I've discovered, but I would think there's probably a way to export any estimate/budget data to something along the lines of MSProject for easy project management set up.
