Was CT Down Last Night??

There was some long periods, (hours or more) that I could not get on to CT. It looks like some posts were made during that time. I could get on to woodworking and diy. Do I have a problem?? Thanks for any help.

Re: Was CT Down Last Night??

I'll be working on the nameserver issue with my host now.
We did move to a new server this morning but this issue started before then which is strange.

Thanks

Re: Was CT Down Last Night??

Maybe it has noting to do with posting I just can't go someplace else and then can't come back. If i click on Ct over in woodworking it still can't find it. I went to Inter ex and typed Ct in and nothing.. Sounds like one of the other fellows over in woodworking might be having the same trouble. The link above works and brings me back logged in now.

Ok, got in there while I was typing. Thanks for the help..

Re: Was CT Down Last Night??

yes, it's a DNS issue. Websites are actually assigned IP addresses sort of like a phone number. DNS assigns a domain name to that IP address and if that goes down you can't get to the site because the domain name you typed it doesn't know where to go.

So, the IP address will still work.

I'm working on it. Thanks.

The host made a change in the DNS. Please let me know if you have problems again.

Thanks.
