What do you guys use to create PDF's?

open to desktop or web based, simpler the better.

Free. Open source. Got this from sourceforge.net a couple of years ago. Works flawlessly. Just print the doc, print dialog box opens up, select pdf creator rather than a printer, select save to / create file name if you choose. Can also spool separate pdf files and create one pdf - file.

Re: Creating PDF's

You can use Open Office Writer (free, open source).

It's just like MS Word, and there's a button in the toolbar "Export Directly as PDF." Awesome. One click PDF.

I don't use Word anymore, I like Open Office so much.

Actually, I believe I got the idea for this from a previous post of yours Framerman. Thanks for that.

Re: Creating PDF's

It depends.

Most, probably all, word processors will export to or print to or publish to PDF.

If I'm assembling multiple scanned documents or jpg's or photos or things of that nature I use Adobe Acrobat.

Re: Creating PDF's

I had issues with CutePDF Writer when I tried it. May have been a bad build at the time. I'm using Doro PDF Creator now, which is very similar, just a print driver.

Re: Creating PDF's

You install it, select it as the printer and that's how the PDF gets created. Easy and free.
