Re: USA Today Snapshot: Contractors

I wonder if this is the cause of unlicensed contractors who are out for quick money. I'm not suggesting that all unlicensed contractors are like this, but here in Az. there has been crack downs on unlic. contractors and I heard today on the radio that the state is holding classes to help unlic contractors to get there licenses easier and cheaper.
I know that when I do work on a home I make sure that at least one person is home at all times. For the simple reason that it covers my backside. from the 44% mess, theft. And I never leave a mess sitting anywhere. I make sure me and my guys clean up everyday, if not while. Which is how I prefer to do it, but isn't always possible to do while working. And another reason is to keep guys from taking showers before they head to the unemployment line. LOL.

Yes. Unlicensed and unskilled contractors tarnish the name of the reputable contractor.

Even some licensed contractors are scum and eventually lose their licenses.

Bob, I'm sorry I'm not laughing at you about that, I just find it disturbingly funny that someone would have the never to be so damned ignorant to do something like that. Some people's children.
