Retainer Until Final Plan/contract Is Done//

I have some people ready to go on a big job. People live over seas but are here until this weekend. I can not get the final plan done by my Arcteict until next week. And then i need to get final pricing/specs from a few subs.

People want to give me a check before they leave. I do not know the final job totals, so i figure i'd type of something " XX agrees to use ruskent for the job." Then i will DHL the final plan and contract to them and they will over night me a check.

What one have any samples of what they would have a client sign in a situation like this?

Accept a non refundable deposit. You will be turning down other projects for this one.
