Real Estate Investment (Mad Money)

I am sure you have all heard or seen the show Mad Money with Jim Cramer. Well the other night I am watching his report on current market conditions and, like I say, he was saying this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get your choice stocks dirt cheep. He was talking about a number of stocks that had dropped the days before. Many that bottomed out, shot up 40% the following week. He said to keep a list of stock you want to buy and at what price you would buy them and if they ever hit that mark, BUY. By doing it in this manner you can take the time to research the companies track dividends and wait for opportunity to strike.

NOW HERE IS THE POINT:

What I didn't know that he pointed out in this special was that HE CAN NOT INVEST IN STOCKS. Because of his show he is banned from investing. Can you imagine being an expert in construction (or in my case real estate) and not being able to profit from that?

So what does dear Jim invest in...REAL ESTATE! He was saying that with the interest rates so low on mortgages, even with the housing market down, you simply have to take advantage of the mortgage sales going on and pick up investment housing! See, by taking advantage of these low rates, you get a low mortgage and can be competitive in the rental market! When the real estate market recovers...BOOM just just made retirement!
