Presold New Customers

About 50% of my jobs are for condo and home owners who we refer too as "snow birds", since I live in Naples, FL (south FL). Our snow birds are mainly from the Northeast and Midwest and have their 2nd homes (winters) here.

I produce a quarterly newsletter I either mail or email to them. I'm late in getting this winter's newsletter out, but this issue will contain a blurb about other excellent contractors who live in these customer's primary homes areas. Since I often get people who say something to the effrect of: "Gee, Sonny. I sure wish I had someone like you in ..........."

So I thought I'd bring the subject up in this newsletter and ask any customer who does need a general repair man, remodeler, painter, roofer, etc., to email me and I'll post something here to see if I can connect them with one of you. I'm not the cheapest guy here and intend to let these customers know that more than likely, anyone I can connect them with would also operate as I do and also not be cheap, but good and ethical.

Also, I've found that since my customers here ar either retired, semiretired and either upper middle class or wealthy, their ages have probably given them the wisdom that they may have lacked in youth and learned not to hire by price, but by caliber of character instead.

Anyway, when that situation arises, I'll create a new thread under this Business section entitled something like: Need Remodeler in Concord, NH area.
