Preprinted Invoices

I was walking through Office Max today and I saw a pack of 100 blank invoices for $17. They were the ones with 3 copies, white, yellow and pink. Well in the top left corner there was blank box like where you would print your logo and it got me thinking, how does one go about printing their logo on this type of form or is there a place online I can order those? The invoices were great, perfect for contractors (hence the 'Contractor Invoices' name) but I didn't buy them because they were too generic and I didn't know how to personalize them.

If you go on line there're a lot of companys you can order from. I use NEBS and have for over 12 years. You could also get a hand stamp logo made up and just stamp the one's from Office Max.

I know that several office supply stores will print them up for you. Kinkos will, almost any local printer. Check with them first. Paper is expensive to ship. You can find a form and change it from there to almost anything you'd like.

NEBS has been supplying small businesses for years, but they are not known for being low priced, just good. They have several invoice styles to choose from.

I've never even heard of NEBS! Who are they? Also, I thought about using a hand stamp but would the stamp copy on the other pages?

I use the stamp, and no, it doesn't go through to the next pages, but those are my copies, so I know where they came from. The client gets the one with the stamp.

New England Business Services or NEBS.

They are now owned by Deluxe, the check printing folks.

So you keep the bottom copy and give the customer the top copy? Isn't that backwards?

Re: Preprinted Invoices

I swear by using the three page invoices. I created a file on excel that included everything I needed and then went through a company called Top Value Printing, www.topvalueprinting.com, 800-226-7879. I got like 1000 copies legal sized for like $250, best quality/price I could find. Plus I can give a copy to the customer, one for me and one for my foremen. The best part is you can have stuff printed on the backside of the white/yellow/pink pages so I have a statement of my warranty and a chart for foremen to track hours.

Re: Preprinted Invoices

I use these forms for small hourly jobs when I want to get paid NOW, rather than going home and sending out a nice printed invoice. I put my logo and info on a label and just place the label on the copy that the client keeps. I use Avery label 8162, there is a template on MS word for them, real easy
