Pay Or Don't Pay Update From 11/01

I still have problem with bowed door. Service was out first time replaced active door .New door has gap at sill when closed.
Service out second time looked at door and found nothing wrong with it.
They try to tell me to leave door lock and it will fix itself .
Door closes ok and latches but there's gap at bottom of door at sill, the only way to get it to seal is puul on handle and ingage three point lock.
Then they try to tell me a lot of doors come with twists or bows in them.
I can't beleive they said that .
I never put in a bowed door before in my live

Has any one else ever ran in to this with a manufacturer ????

Did you read the manufacturer's warranty on this door?

Did they say anything about warping or bowing in it?

can you provide a link to your original post?
It's not the same gap with the new active door is it? if thats the case than you need to move the hinge jamb leg on that door out to adjust for that. If you put the door on a set of level saw horses can you see the twist? are these full lite doors or solid with small lites?

My point is, you're talking about a door that may or may not be warranted against this type of defect. Have you read the warranty to see what is and isn't covered?

weve gotten quite a few bowed doors. it really does happen frequently. I think it is caused by storing the doors leaning in their inswing direction
