Partnership And Money
I have a question reguarding a contract I have recently accuired and am now organizing sub-contractors and labor for. Actually this is more of a clarification for my partner.
My partner and I split the general contracting duties equaly and have been looking for the best bids to repair a large deck. I have offered to do the repair myself and will pay myself an hourly wage on top of the contract. He seems to think that if I do the work I should not recieve an hourly wage and the money is split evenly between us. Could someone please clarify this for me and my partner. Thank you, Jose |

Re: Partnership And Money![]() ![]() What does your partnership agreement state? Do you guys normally work on an Hourly Rate, Salary or profit only? Start your own company & submit a bid

Re: Partnership And Money
I'd agree with what's in your partnership agrement. That is a detail that should have been worked out prior because it could go either way.
FWIW, in our partnership we draw a weekly salary and the proceeds from any billable event go into the general fund which pays our salaries. Last week I worked on a roof all week, this week I expect to be in the office. Same salary each week. Good Luck Dave
