Nonpayment Again, Another GC Story

So this time.....
A friend of mine who is a GC has been in business for himself about 1.5 years. I did the electrical on all his jobs. Never had a problem till now.
He found some hottie, divorced his wife and took the Homeowners and all the subs money and left town.

had to settle with the homeowner for $0.50 0n the $1 to recoup some of the funds.

I know where he keeps his trailers, but I can't seem to find him, boy are those trailera nice, thats more than enough to get my money back.

I hope I never see him again.

Tucson - sounds familiar, except the bookkeeper supposedly got the money

If you can get hold of him, see if he will sell it you for the amount owed, or if his wife is still pissed at him - have her sell them to you

You might check with a lawyer about going through small claims &/or placing a lien on his property / trailer

Mind doing us a favor - and put you location in your profile?
