NARI Or NAHB

Anyone a member of both? What's the diffrence between the two? Looking at there sites they seem like the same. One better than the other?

Thanks

Re: NARI Or NAHB

Alot depends on your local chapter- some are great, some are a complete waste of time. Here in NJ, neither organization is very strong, and what you get out of the membership doesn't really justify the costs (from what I've seen here in the past). In other areas of the country (Washington DC has a good chapter- I spoke at one of their meetings a few years ago), the membership is well worth it.

I'd recommend attending a few meetings of the local chapters of both organizations to see which suits you best. Also bear in mind that NAHB doesn't offer much for remodelers unless they have a Remodeler's Council in your local chapter.
