Mastermind Group.

Two months ago I was invited to join what is called a Master Mind group. I had never heard of one before. The jest of it is to get a group of business owners together to help each others business improve and grow.

We meet once a week for an hour and have five people in our group. I have been amazed at how much its helps my business. Each week we take on one persons business to focus on. That business will present a problem or question and we spend the hour giving our input and constructive criticism. It is helpful to have other business people to use as a sounding board. Even though we are focusing on one business at a time we all gain helpful insight.

The reason I bring this up is to throw out an idea that may help other contractors with their business. That and maybe it is late and I am just starting to ramble. Anyway take it for what it is worth.

Mark

This is a great tool to use to grow your business.
I have been using this concept for over 20 years and have to say it responsible for many successful ideas.
There is a book that teaches this concept. It is call "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. This work is a big part of my coaching program and is being received very well by contractor clients.
We also use the concepts in our networking group where we set up groups within the group called spheres. We set these meetings up right after the networking meeting and also focus on each others business. It is amazing how many ideas come up to help the business the whole sphere is focusing on.
