Looking For A GC Tele-advisor...

Hi-

I am looking for an experienced General Contractor who will consult with me via telephone, on an on-going basis, regarding various residential remodeling projects.

I will have very specific questions for you about residential remodeling projects and will need to know what they will entail down to the very smallest details.

Please e-mail me at: kldliam@yahoo.com

Thanks.

$220.00 an hour. With a $160.00 minimum charge per incident. Or you could just post your questions here for free.

Here's what I think I know... any guy that bites at this offer is crazy. First off, you'd need to have E & O insurance, which a GC normally does not have. A consultant would. The liability, even for telephone consulting, is great and very real. Plus, it can be a special challenge consulting on things you can't see with your own two eyes, thus increasing the liability.

Yeah, really. That's the scenario I envisioned.

It would be better to ask the questions in the open forum, where nobody is being compensated. Plus, any advice can be amended or tempered by the experience of others.
