Legal Advice

Our company did some new construction work for a developer. I have 3 contracts signed and 1 change order not signed. We did not file any liens (i know that was bad). I called their acctg dept. They said they were in financial trouble and could not pay, but i could keep calling back to find out their situation. My plan is to take back our installations ( parking blocks, signs etc..) What is the correct way to handle this? Thanks
