Have a friend who just got a few props as his dad passed away. At a Super Bowl party he saw my work, floors, kitchen, deck at the house we were at.

Met at one of them this morning. He has myself and three other semi- mutual friends who do various iterations of trade work. No license, insurance or a pot to pee in for the other guys.

Started to look around - if this, if that scenario's by the owner. After five minutes I got him outside for a minute and said this is probably not a good fit....etc. and left. He'll find out about the CF he's in in a month or two.

Never have walked on something like this (always had a more extended approach) but there was a thread here recently that covered this specifically. Thanks a lot to my CT brothers for the prep and knowing what to do.

Got a month long bsmt reno going now and two new customer calls this week. I'll go with that.

Gotta get back to the job. Thanks to whomever said they walked from a job last week.
