Invaluable Reading
I tried searching to no avail. I am looking for books that have helped you guys in your business. Whether it be sales, business, management, motivational or whatever. I recently left 16 yrs in retail home improvement sales (due to closing from other thread) and now am selling, managing projects for a home remodeler. I am loving every minute, but very different on the other side of the fence. Looking forward to getting some good reading. Thanks..

Re: Invaluable Reading
There have been some very good post about this here. Click on the search button and try some keywords. books, McCormick, The Millionaire Next Door, the last two were my contributions to a rather lengthy thread.

Re: Invaluable Reading
I'm kind of a junkie on those sorts of books. I pick up a few each year. Of all of them, I constantly have quotes jump into my head from "What they don't teach you at Harvard Business School", by Mark McCormick. It's probably 10 or 15 years old, but still very pertinant.

Re: Invaluable Reading
Just got "Markup & Profit" A contractors guide. I'll let you know what I think. I'm sure some of you have read it and have some opinions on it.
I would recommend Robert kiyosaki: "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", & "Real estate riches" these were very motivating books. Flimmer |
