How To Pay A Production Manager?
To those of you who have productions managers managing your crews, how do you pay your production managers?
Should it be salary or hourly for the base? Should the monthly bonus be based on monthly revenue or monthly profits? How many hours a week on average do your production managers work? |

Re: How To Pay A Production Manager?
My production manager has a base salary plus bonus. The monthly/ quarterly bonus is based off the projects they produced for the month/quarter. Most bonuses are stretched over each quarter. Most of our projects run more than a month. Since some projects go longer than others we give a small monthly/ quarterly bonus and give the rest at the end of the year.
In my situation I pay them based on what they produce and not on my revenue or profit. The work week is between 30-50 hrs. a week. Perhaps more. Being paid on a salary + I don't track all the hours. Last edited by noreast05; 01-31-2006 at 10:37 PM. |
