If it is a quality of life issue, your kids may be all for it...sure, it is tough to move, but for months now we have been seeing on this forum the number of guys who say it is getting tougher by the day in Michigan. There are other places to work, and perhaps you could wing it alone for a few months and test the water...I like stability, but if you aren't working, something will have to give.

No need to to move too far South. Try the Chicagoland & NW Indiana area. There's plenty of work around here.

Hey Mike was reading you do your sketches in 3d for clients. What program are you using? I currently use Cad and also Home Designer 3d program I purchase.
