Home Depot Coupons

I'm heading out the door for an estimate and a trip to the mail box to send my check to a seller on E-bay for my bundle of 20% coupons I purchased last night. They cost me about $1.25 a piece and each one can discount up to $400.00.

Anybody else ever use this trick. It's pretty common trick in the investment property world, rehabbers have been buying Home Depot discount coupons off of Ebay for years. I'm probably creating more competition and maybe some of you will be bidding against me next time, but oh well...

Re: Home Depot Coupons

Hey, that's my good deed for the year.

I spent something close to $60,000 at HD last year. Imagine if I could have taken 20% off of that number, that's $12,000!

Re: Home Depot Coupons

I just picked up 20, 20% off coupons with no expiration for $54.00, that's $2.70 a piece. So as long as I'm spending over $13.50 on an order, I'm in the good.

yes you can.

Before you load up your cart you should check at the service desk or pro desk, because I've heard there's some stores that won't take the 20%, but other than that you should be good. In the fine print it excludes some name brands like John Deere, Whirlpool, etc.

Re: Home Depot Coupons

Usually the discount is a maximum of $400. Which is 20% off of a purchase up to $2000 dollars.

There are a few varieties that you will see offered.

There are 10% on a single item and 10% off an entire purchase,
20% on a single item, and 20% an entire purchase, most of the ones I see for sale have an expiration date, usually a month or two. There are exceptions like tools and stuff...

Sounds like Woodcrafter got a 20% off with no expiration. There might be some 20% offs with no limit.

The auctions usually show the fine print blown up so you can read it or they are really good about telling you the fine print.
