General Contracting Internationaly?

Does anyone have any knowledge of how to pursue international construction projects?Mainly heavy civil or wastewater.
I would like to work as a general or sub-contractor in just about any international market?
What major hurdles do I need to overcome?

OK I'll bite

Where are you located now?
Which target markets do you really want to know about?
Do you have a passport?
Do you have or know a lawyer versed in International Law?
Do you know the number to the State Department?
You do know there are numerous types of VISA's correct? (I am not talking charge cards here either)
Do you have at least a couple mil in the bank?

If not please look up Haliburton - they may still be hiring & in the mean time post an Intro here http://www.contractortalk.com/f44/ & fill in your location
