Learn How to Break Free of the Owner-Operator Trap
Contractors Business School Offers a Free Webinar Today, Sept. 17

Register now for this webinar on "Why Contractors Work Too Hard and Earn Too Little - Break Free of the Owner-Operator Trap" presented by Jayme Broudy of Contractor's Business School and sponsored by Construction Business Owner.

Ask Yourself:

* Would my business be in a shambles if I took a month off?
* Am I working too hard for the return on my investment?
* Am I fighting fires with no time to think, plan or manage?
* Do I have trouble finding good employees and capable managers?
* Do I believe that success requires pain and sacrifice?

Contractors are notorious for building businesses around themselves. Convinced they are essential to the moment-by-moment operations of every aspect of their business, their firms only provide them an underpaid job. Owner-dependent businesses also have limited growth potential and are difficult to sell. This program will help contractors break free of the "owner-operator" mindset and embark on the path to create a stand-alone business.

This webinar will:

1) Shift your perspective about your role as a business owner
2) Help you understand how successful, stand-alone contractor firms manage and build their businesses
3) Teach you how to transfer day-to-day tasks to employees

Log on or dial in, and feel free to ask questions if you like.

Here are the details
Date: Wednesday, September 17, 2008 - 10am PST (11am MST, 12pm CST, 1pm EST)

I always take advantage of anything free. I'm logged in. I might pay for it down the road with some spam and sales pitches over the phone, but I can live with that.

I participated. I have heard it all before, but I got away from practicing it. It definitely does work if you're committed to it. Seven years ago we did $400,000. Now we're over $3 million. But this year I definitely got away from the core principles, and reverted back to the "they can't survive without me" guy. I have to get away from that and get back on track. Starts tonight. We got very busy and all the good systems went out the window as I kept saying "yes, more work? sure!" I'm stoked again, though. Time to get crackin'.

That was way too short of an advance notice for me to stay in the office.

Did they mention if the session would be archived for future listening?

Their website has a lot of broken stuff on it.. Hopefully that is no reflection of their webinar content

This one sounds as if it would be good.
