Financing Again...

Thinking about getting into it yet again. Anyone have ideas for the easiest simplest finance company for me to use get customers financed? Something that would require very little effort on my part.

What did you have to do to get started, and what did you have to do when you had a sale. Was it a lot of work? Do you still use it?

2 page application, copy of my contract, right of recession form, Profit and loss for 3 years/tax returns

you call them on the phone give them the clients info, or fax in a filled out application. On the phone its about 20 minutes for an approval.

takes about 2-3 days to get your draws

Re: Financing Again...

Is GE Money a personal loan?

I have a saved blurb from last May when the topic was making the rounds on this site. someone gave me a great rundown on GE Money, which I have saved. someone else was touting Wells Fargo's.

Re: Financing Again...

Patrick,

If there was no application process and the funds were available immediately, would a 3 % fee sound reasonable?

I am in touch with a group that handles the transactions online for contractors.

Re: Financing Again...

Also check out Capital One.
A phone call from the owners home and within 15 minutes an approval or denial.
Either way you know while your there. Get yourself set up with a good mortgage broker so that if you do get a denial you can tell the customer that it's OK. You will have your broker call them and we still have a chance. We deal with a local guy here that specializes in consolidation loans. I can honestly look the customers in the face and say........"What if I could give you the siding and windows for $30,000, get rid of your credit card debt, get rid of your equity line debt, get rid of your car payments and put money in your pocket every month......Is that something you would like to hear about?"
I only do this if we have been denied for an unsecured loan but if the customer is a finance shopper.....They love this.

Re: Financing Again...

I have used both GE Finance and Capital One and never had a problem with either. Although if I was to get involved again then i would probably go with the first
