Electronic Bill Paying

A/P tasks eat up a ton of my time. I'm looking hard at eliminating the check printing / signing mailing process by going to electronic bill paying. All I'd need to do is go on line and tell the bank how much to send to any given vendor. Anybody using such a service now? If so, is it 'the bomb' or just another complication in your day?

we got rid of our 99% of our small charge accts. and went to using a credit card, and paying it online every month. we rack up enough air miles each year for each of us to take a couple of trips

Now that's a cool idea. If I could do that with fuel I'd be droppin'almost $20K a month on the card. I'll bet ya' that'd earn me some miles. But then I'd have to spend money to go somewhere I'm gonna' look at my accounts this weekend and see what I can weed out. Thanks for the idea.

It is great at home, I agree. I'm kinda' thinking that the question is a no brainer. Thought I'd put it out there to see.

Re: Electronic Bill Paying

How secure on these electronic bill paying programs ??

We do everything the old fashioned way. Go through alot of envelopes and stamps that way.
