Re: Drawing A Line Between Business And Personal
I'm going to start doing bookkeeping, specializing in construction of course. I can offer you a paperless office, you fax your stuff to one number, every day or as often as you want to, I do the work. You get the reports.
Do what you do best is my motto!

Re: Drawing A Line Between Business And PersonalQuote:
Over the weekend, I was working on yet another bid for my current contract. As I was using the internet researching materials, suppliers, my costs for materials etc., I found on the home depot website under their PRO tab a link for web based estimating software. I have been using it and man has it ever stream lined putting together an estimate and a proposal. I can export the report into either Word or into Adobe. If I recall correctly, having one login is free, but requesting additional logins for office staff there is a monthly service fee. |

Re: Drawing A Line Between Business And Personal
Yes you could probably do all of it yourself but a lot of what you are doing you aren't getting paid for. Hire some help so you can free up your time to do more billable stuff. As for "family time", you MUST reserve time for that too and don't use it as the first thing to get rid of when you fall behind in work or she will resent your work and get tired of you putting her last.
