Can Someone Tell Me How To Find New Customers When Starting A New Business ???

i just started my own business can someone tell me what is the best way to start off. Websites, advertisement and stuff like this.

Dre --- one thing I would do is also look through the archives and find past threads related to marketing.

I will say one thing --- keep your marketing small and proportional. Starting up, I would not spend too much in marketing ---- it can really drain you down if you don't have an adequate amount of capital. And get away from the internet --- go out and talk talk talk talk

I got my very first customer while working at a PT job I was while I was starting up. I was answering the phone and for some odd reason we both just got into this really long conversation and one thing led to the next and the next thing I know, I've got a small job.

So talk talk talk talk. Talk to people in the dentist office --- strike up a conversation. Actually I've got a prospect now that met in line at the grocery store

I'm not down-selling an advertisements, phone books, websites, etc.

but it's certainly cheaper to talk

Door hangers are cheap, you don't have to even hang them. This gives you an excuse to knock on their doors and introduce your company. Then you can do dirt's advise and talk some more.

i was wondering, things like AOL.com and yellowpages.com some ppl said its also a good thing and its like $3 buks per call and than the gay/lesbian community i think it is a good thing. thank for ur help guys, thats exactly what im looking for, cheap and inexpensive addvertisement for now, and another question is Service Magic for USA only ????

it was some of the peoples suggestions, lots of people wrote that it works very well, and they talk a lot, that they can get it out there
