Re: Bidding Out Jobs

When we say something like "figure all of your cost of doing the job and then ADD FOR PROFIT to come up with your total bid price"??

It means just what it says...add whatever you want to make as profit to the cost of labor, overhead, and materials. If you don't do this you'll be breaking even on every job (theoretically...as long as everything goes perfectly...HAHAHA..as if that will ever happen)

You should consider the following: 45% GM on Matetrials $ 85.00 Labor Mechanical $ 120.00 Tech
7.5% Project Management add risk factor. These numbers are current for Florida.
