Adding To Your License?

I'm not sure if I am in the right area for this questions but I was wondering if anyone has ever gone for an "Architectural Drafting" certificate or degree after having your licenses? I have my GC and Roofing license, but was trying to branch off into Drafting or Engineering. Does this sound reasonable? I know some engineers that have gone for GC licenses, but the other way around? I've done some research and found a program that will give me a "technical certificate" in Drafting with a specialization in Architecture. I don't really know what I can and cannot do with this. Any ideas?
