Does he have to wipe the drip from his nose alot.

I've seen many guys get ghetto rich when the cash is flowing but it just goes up their nose.

I knew a lot of flooring installers about 10 years ago with the same problem. They learned the trade while in high school and were making over 100k by the age of 18-20. Really sad, they were out of money by Sunday every week.

I had one of my guys a few years ago that made about 2k per week and was always broke. Come to find out he would cash his check on Saturday and spend it at the strip club. This depressed him so he took up drinking. I read the AA book, took it's advice and let him go. Funny thing is that part of his 12 steps were to call everyone that his drinking screwed and I was on his list. His once excellent finish work cost me a little over $3000 in two weeks.

Its not always a bad thing when someone goes out of business. So many people are in business but are struggling just because they can't run a business.

Sometimes, they are better off just working for someone.

Sometimes it has NOTHING to do with money, when dealing with a very small operation. It is real easy for the owner who is also the manager to get fed up and just close his doors and walk away.

Sometimes the owner gets a better job offer perhaps with a supplier, manufacturer, or competitor.

Then yeah sometimes it comes down to money. I always say being the worlds best tradesman doesn't qualify you to run a business. Some guys are betetr suited as foremen or supervisors than as business owners.
