Wilma And S Tile Roofs VS Flat And Metal.

As I look all around, the S tile roofs are missing tile, large sections pulled up. The metal or flat tile old style are intact. What gives is it the roofer ? Or the wind resistance of the flat metal and tile? Also what is the cost per square of S tile VS metal roof ?

GO, I noticed the same thing last year after Francis and Jeanne, it finalized my decision to go metal.

There are a number of factors and combinations of factors involved, I'm not prepared to write a treatise right now.

Most shingled roofs will not support the weight of tile but you won't have any problems retroing tile to metal.
