What To Charge For Blue Roof?

Can somebody give me a price for blue roof (tarp & labor) in Jackson TN? Kinda feeling stupid here. I've done insurance claims off & on for 4 years. Until today I've never had to put a tarp on a roof to cover damages. My software says $1.06/SF. That seems high to me. What does Xactimate say?

Thanks ahead of time guys.

Re: What To Charge For Blue Roof?

After Katrina, FEMA contracted for $1.50 and $1.75 per square foot for blue roofs. I found that out on google at that time, just by googling Blue Roof Prices.

Re: What To Charge For Blue Roof?

I happened to run up on an adjuster today from Farm Bureau and he told me all they pay is $150 for a small job & $250 for a big job, tops. He said they don't have a SF price & I could turn in whatever I wanted to but in then end thats all they pay.

I have a love hate relationship with insurance work, but at least it's bringing us out of the construction slump we've been experiencing around here. Picked up 5 new roofing jobs today & then found out that my best roofer is in jail for DUI...again. The man upstairs has a strange sense of humor.

Thanks ED, remod, & tinner
