Tool Tips...
I just wanted to share this with the Roofers here.
I just picked up this Occidental Hammer Holder which sits the head of the hammer high on the waist. This is great for those of us that are squatted down really close to a pitched roof. ![]() I used to use this AWP oil tanned leather hammer holder which had a swivel action and it worked great because when I'd get close to the roof, instead of it popping hack up and out of the hammer loop, it would just swing in the direction of the roof that I was leaning against. But nothing is better than my hatchet "not" touching the roof when I'm in close quarters with the high mount holder. Plus, it's in really easy reach when I need it. For $12., you get rid of that annoyance of having the hammer pop out of it's holder when you bend down on a roof.
