Temporary Gutter Repair (Liquid Roof?)

Hey All,

I have a client with a tiled patio over living space, with a really poorly designed gutter and scupper system ('custom' aluminum integral to the roof, tile, and stucco 'railing' ) which is in need of some attention.
OK, Strike that! What it NEEDS is to be torn and and re-designed, but unfortunately, that is NOT in the offing.

I'm thinking about applying something like a liquid EPDM material or some sort of poor-able quasi self leveling roofing material that might seal it up for him for a couple years until he has the finances to tear it all out and do it right.

Might anyone be able to suggest a suitable product?
