Steel/vinyl Coil Stock. What To Look For..
I need some good coil stock for my home which wont react with the steel starter strip that must be installed on top of it. I have aluminum coil stock in matched color. But need to replace it to prevent dissimilar metal electrolysis.
I have only heard of vinyl coil stock. But have not worked with it. Anyone? Can anyone recommend a good manufacturer of steel coil stock. Id like to find a kynar painted coil stock around 28 - 26 gage. Thanks |

galvenized steel and aluminum are side by side on the galvanic scale, very little reaction. Toss in a baked enamel panted finish and I wouldn't think there would be a problem.
