Sales Depression.........Sales Euphoria

Oh, how it feels sometimes when you just haven't landed a sale in awhile. So depressing, what a dull, boring time. You start questioning yourself. Is it me.......? Am I doing something different???? A case of the sales depression.

Sales Euphoria !! Oh, what a feeling. You know you have the sale before you reach the door. Everything feels right. You are on a natural high and feeling confident you are opening that door to another sale. You are not even halfway thru your pitch and you can see the gleem in the customers eyes. The smirk they are holding back......and the look on their face that they have found that someone that they want to business with. Do you stop the pitch and ask for the sale now. You are confident you already have it anyways. Heck no! You decide to continue on, because you are in that zone and you love it. Everything you are saying is almost agreed upon, or you see their head nodding in approval before you are done with the sentence. Your are soaking it up. Nothing better than that feeling. Just toying with the fish, and enjoying the moment before you reel them in for the big catch of the day. And finally you have had enough fun. You are satisfied with the pitch, decide to get the signature on the line and scheduled in the book. Why, so soon?????? It is so much fun. Because you know that you must see one more customer, go on one more estimate, answer one more call. Because today you have the case of Sales Euphoria. It may last one hour. 1 day, 1 week. Get those sales in why you can. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh . Don't you love that feeling, or am I the only one that gets that much of an adreline rush out of a sale that I almost piss my pants, I get so excited.

Re: Sales Depression.........Sales Euphoria

I still get that rush of a feeling, even though I have owned my company for over 24 years now.

I hate the first one though, but you have to plaster that smile on your face and fake it till you make it, knowning that good things happen to those that put in the effort.

That is encouraging to know you still get the same feeling, even though you have been in it so much longer than I.
