Rubber Roof

I'm a painting contractor and have a question about painting a rubber roof. Here are the specifics: Commericial building with rubber roof which continues up a verticle wall. From the back of the building you can see the rubber on the wall from the street and the city is having a "fit". Owner of building wants it painted because he figures it is the cheapest route. Do you guys know what material I can use to paint the rubber? Thanks Robert

Conklin.com

Look at this. Goes on like paint and seals better than tar.

Re: Rubber Roof

Is there curbing above the wall that you can cap then counterflash under with another material?

Any type of roof coating will be fine. I use Adurel which has optional color additives.

The perm rating is through the roof compared to "tar" (asphalt)

Hypalon paint. it does become a pain to repair after you paint it though.

Re: Rubber Roof

I always wonder how they got the roof of the house over the left field bleachers at wrigleyfield to say budweiser. Meaning what kind of roof and is it painted on.
