Roofing Tins


Does anyone still use roofing tins for paper.

Metal tins that you get at home depot. To shoot nais through to hold tar paper down.

We don,t use then they hold the slate and shingles up. They don't sit flat.Plus with the tin mag attached to the gun we can set tin without holding the tins. And don't have to buy special nails or agun. We can go from papering to shingle without changes. Bob

caps do hold the paper down a lot better then staples. but its slower. i can go almsot 3 times faster with the stapler. just have too watch people who are stapleing as well if there blowing through the paper a lot someones going for a ride,
