Roofing Industry In Oregon

Hi! My husband (in the roofing industry) and I are looking into a possible relocation to Oregon from our homestate of Michigan. We were wondering how the rain season in Oregon affects the roofing industry. We are used to snow and months of an off-season, but he says that snow is better to work in than rain. Does the industry come to a halt during the rain season? I'm just hoping that he would be able to find enough work in Oregon.

If anyone has any information, it would be greatly appreciated!

Eastern Oregon is High desert. 300+ days of sun a year.
