Replacing Roof System
I'm in the process of replacing a roofing system over a section of a home. It's a gable roof which covers the garage and living room. We are adding a full second level and matching the gable of the rest of the house. Existing gable needs to be ripped off, down to 2nd floor deck. What is the best way to protect the house during this process. I cant possible rip down and build up in one day. I need a few day stretch without rain I guess

Re: Replacing Roof System
Full sized tarps without any punctures and something in the center to create a temporary pitch.
I have used multiple A-Frame or Little Giant ladders with 2" x 4"s or 2" x 6"s spanned from on to the other . Secure them tightly to the fascia with good nails as the wind can suck the tarp upwards. Ed
