Question On Venting Low Slope

Hello, I have a roof with some condensation issues in the attic. It is low slope probably a 2/12 with some type of roll roofing installed with no vents of any kind. I was wondering if I could install those small square "turtle" vents or would they not be a good idea on such a low slope. I have lots of shingling experience but not so much on flat roofs.

Re: Question On Venting Low Slope

If installed properly they will work on low slope the same as on steep.

Re: Question On Venting Low Slope

The problem with lower pitches is the run off and rain bouncing in. You would be better increasing the height off the roof of the actual vent opening. 2/12 might be okay though.
