Re: Peel And Stick On Residential Roof?
I have used self adhering modified many times. On a 3/12 No Problem. I use it down to 1/8" /12. There is emulsion for the end laps which is fool proof, meaning hard to make a mistake, but sine we own hot air guns we prefer to use that, which is bullet proof, meaning if done right will never leak.
This roof is a system... http://www.certainteed.com/products/...adhered/308479 made up of a cap and at least one base. The base can be nailed down or screwed down or adhered to the wood deck. That's a 12 year roof. For a 15 year roof add in a mid ply for 3 total plys. We do it all the time. |
