Nailbase Roof Insulation
Is any body using a Nailbase roof insulation? If so how's working out for you? I've been looking at the Homasote Thermasote 4' X 8' sheets. We have tons of house here that have no eves or ways to vent them and when we do roofing they think that it will never have ice build up again or if it does it shouldn't leck.

Re: Nailbase Roof Insulation
I've done it on one job and bid it on 3 or 4 others. It's pretty expensive, but if your roof deck is also your ceiling, it is highly highly recommended.
If there is an attic space or even a cathedral ceiling there are lots of easier and perhaps more effective ways of creating an intake. A false fascia vent works great. So does the inhaler fascia vent. |
