Moss Growth On Roof

I have a side of my roof that gets alot of shade. I now have some moss and lichens starting to grow on it. I have your standard shingles and was wondering what I can spray it with to kill the moss and not damage or discolor my roof. Any suggestions??

Re: Moss Growth On Roof

I used the 'search' function for roof, moss, clean, and came up with this.

Re: Moss Growth On Roof

I belive a piece of zinc towards the top of the roof will help get rid of the moss. Some kinda chemical reaction.
