Milwaukee Nailer
Anyone got any experience good/bad with the Milwaukee roofing nailer? My roofing supplier has them on right now for $380.

Re: Milwaukee Nailer
I didn't even know milwaukee made roofing nailers, or nailers of any kinds. Saws, drills, etc... sure. I have some of their tools... I don't have anything pneumatic however.
Milwaukee got bought out by Ryobi a year or so ago. However I own milwaukee and ryobi tools and milwaukee are definetly more beefy. |

Re: Milwaukee Nailer
Maybe they're new on the market, so no-one has one yet. The mechanism where you put the nails in is identical to the hitachi, different from the bostitch I've got now. Maybe the Ryobi is the same, I don't know. Tks, Grump

Re: Milwaukee Nailer
They are real new out. I saw them at the Milwaukee store a couple months back. I picked up a couple of them and looked them over, but I have no idea what I'm looking at when it comes to nailers. The only experience I have with nails is picking up bent one's on the jobsite and straightening them to install some blocking.

As far as the nailer....I've always been pretty happy with Milwaukee tools, but I think I would wait a year or two for them to work out any bugs in a nailer....it's not really what they do. Haitachi and Bostich have been building nailers for a long time. JMHO |
